An unexpected MUST READ!!!

LOSING IT ALL (Hellfire Riders MC #7) by Kati Wilde

Ok so I need to begin with the admission that I'm generally not a fan of MC books. Generally speaking, I find them too heavy on female disrespect and violence... however, Losing It All - although fully of absolutely horrific violence is different. Now I knew by 25% through that I'd be writing it up as a blog post This book is just that good! I 'borrowed' it through Kindle Unlimited and when I finished, purchased and downloaded. I had to have it in my library.

Yes, there is violence and disrespect towards the women in the story, however, it isn't over the top or just there because that's how these books generally go. It didn't turn my stomach as most usually do. Stone is scarred and tough and massively damaged. 'Cherry' is sweet and innocent and equally damaged and scarred by the life they've both been trapped in.

I love how hard and truly she loves those captives under her care, all while trying to keep herself safe and more importantly save her family. Stone wants to save her despite hating everything she has done to all the men. He has a self-proclaimed soft spot for girls in trouble and despite believing 'Cherry' IS the trouble, his heart recognises she needs protecting even more than his own life.

I couldn't put this story down, it almost killed me to have to go to work the past 48hrs and have to take a break from the pain and suspense and red freaking hot sex that is Losing It All. FYI while this is book #7 in a series apparently - I'd never come across the series or the author before. You know those posts most of book dorks come across on facebook? Don't just skim past, that's where I stumbled across this fantastic book. Despite being #7 it is absolutely a stand-alone and I didn't need to know anything of the Hellfire Riders world previous to page 1.

Do yourself a great favour and dive in deep - you won't be sorry you met Stone and 'Cherry'.

The Hellfire Riders’ enforcer, Stone Wall, has just three weaknesses.

Dogs.

Little kids.

Damsels in distress.

But this time, the damsel isn’t in distress. She’s bait, luring him in with haunted eyes and a sad smile. And Stone should have known better, but he couldn’t resist those soft, sweet lips. One kiss put him in a cage, fighting for his life. Fighting not to let winning rip his soul apart…and losing that fight.

So he played the hero. That’s over with. The moment he’s free, that damsel in distress is going to give him his pound of flesh. Kiss by kiss. Lick by lick.

It’s payback time.
