Can you believe we're a whole month into 2023 Reading Ninjas? January flew by so fast. A blur of books... Today I want to share a new release with you that I was lucky enough to receive an ARC - thanks Lynnea Lee.
A MONSTER'S LOVE
This story was quick and easy to read and really brings to life my version of an old saying I'm sure you all know... But of course I prefer my version: Better the demon you don't know, than the devil you do... After all, often the monsters we know in our lies are more dangerous than the strangers we're warned against.
Trjun and Bree are both stranded on an alien planet. From worlds foreign to each others, they are enslaved in a place the universe thinks of as Utopia. Good intentions and a need to help others is no match for an evil disguised as good; unless of course you're a hot, hunky alien with horns, wings and a lust for his fated mate, and his sassy, brave human who just wants to live her life in peace and freedom.
Their attraction is off the charts, as they fight for their freedom, for each other, and to come together to complete their mate bond. Full of action, sass and lots of steamy alien loving. You can't go wrong with this demon lover.
TRJUN
When I charged the enemy to rescue a ravishing female who caught my eye, I didn't expect the mate bond to drop me to my knees. Captured, I'm locked behind electrified bars in a genetic lab where a researcher throws the female into my cell and demands we reproduce.
I vow to do everything in my power to make my little mate happy, but I won't claim her until I extricate us from this cruel prison. Once we're free she can have anything she wants from me so long as she doesn't want me to let her go. BRIANNA Once, I was a golden child. The perfect accessory for my parents' social climbing. Then their prospects soured and they sent me to Utopia. Betrayed by everyone, I gave up on life and love. Then I was thrown in a prison cell with a red-hot alien demon, the first being to ever truly protect me. I don't understand his growls and snarls, but inside the curve of Trjun's wings, I do know I am safe. Teamwork and a bit of luck help us escape the secret lab, and with the sun on my face I swear I'll never live for anyone but myself again. But one look at Trjun and I know I should throw caution to the wind. Do I dare stay safe in his arms forever?
