I really like Rachel Jonas's writing style. While hot and sexy it's also a slow descriptive burn. Each of her books slowly builds to the next. This first in a series sets the scene for what is to come. The obligatory hot sexy harem of men and the young feisty lady who will make or break them.

This is not a quick easy read, but it's great all the same. You find yourself sucked into a pacific island world of magic, danger and a whole lot of frustrated hormones. Just when you think you've reached a peak and the sexy satisfying climax is imminent.......you need to read the next book!!!

DAMMIT!!!! Simultaneously frustrating and titilating, can't wait for more; we all know the second peak is a greater one to climb and conquer.
