This is absolutely my fave of the 3 covenant stories, and I'll admit it's because I'm bias - I am a redhead pale chick with big boobs and introverted nature (though I'm way shorter than Sadie). I love that she's a woman who literally has no clue who she is. Everything she knows, everything she's lived is who she is and she's completely in the dark - unlike the previous 2 books where the heroine knows her past and her place. I love reading Sadie's self-doubts and torture as she attempts to make sense of the war between her desires and her mind.
I love the men, they're all so different and yet alike and equally hot but I've gotta say - as an Aussie I have a particular soft spot for Charles. What can I say, I love a home flavour. Poor Julie has listened to me rave on about eating kangaroo meat so many times that I would never have forgiven her if she hadn't included it.
I've loved each of the 3 books in this series and really hope Julie continues supplying hot man flesh harems for select deserving women. This is a great quick read that you will love curling up with on a lazy Sunday.
Sadie McKenzie has no experience with love, giving or receiving. She’s never had a family of her own and lives her days alone with a dream to become a published author.
The day of her first ever book signing, she takes a short cut down a dark alley that leads her on an unexpected path, altering her life forever. Sadie is about to discover her life up until now has been a lie, nothing is as it seems, and her new world has creatures she’s only ever read and fantasized about.
