This is Cricket and Mark's story and it's what we've been waiting for for so long. Cricket is a Little that is not only full of the usual Little sass but is overflowing with it and she's not afraid to go after what she wants... Even if that's a Daddy who's going out of his way to avoid her. But he's her Daddy and she's a Little that is not letting him get away, no matter what. There are many moments that will make you smile, and one very touching moment involving string that had tears burning my eyes as I read.
It's a quick, easy story to read - great for a Sunday on the couch if you're in the winter hemisphere, or a beach afternoon if you're in the north. Do yourself a favour, this is the last of the military Daddies and I'm so sad about that...
