This book presented me with these very questions. What if? What if HELL is a corporation that's attempting to take over the world from it's head office in Western Australia. What if angels and demons walk amongst us, seemingly normal people living their normal lives? What if angels were beings of prejudice, adamantly anti demon, always believing the worst and treating them as such - the worst beings in the universe. What if demons were just trying to get through the days since they fell from heaven? Living as humans, celebrating the Melbourne Cup, Christmas, taking holidays and living with crappy office coffee? What if Lucifer were just a sad, lonely demon who hides behind a stereotypical sleazy exterior?
What if everything we all know isn't so? What if a special angel joins the office? What if she sees the way things actually are and not how heaven believes them to be? What if she is capable of changing everything without even realising? What if?
I really loved this book, it killed me to put it down in order to do my day job. This is book 2 in a series apparently, but it's not a book that has to follow on from the last which is great. The author is another first for me, and I'm now officially a fan. Straight onto Amazon to search for more by her and more in the series.
