I've been bitten by the book con bug and don't plan to look for a cure. Over the next 6 months there seems to be a lot of book con's downunder to choose from over the summer/autumn months; I'm planning to get out there locally are you?
POP UP SIGNINGS AUSTRALIA - These are arranged by wonderful Aussie author Candace Dowds and are literally as they say; pop up signings. I'll be heading to the Berwick signing in January with a few book loving friends in tow. Check out their fb page for details about signings all over our great land.
BOOKS BY THE BRIDGE - Sydney The last week in February, Sydney hosts a nice big book con at the classic Luna Park. A weekend in Sydney is always a treat for me and adding books and authors to the mix just makes it all the better.
BOOKMARKED & SEXY - Brisbane Now I've never actually been to Brissy before so the change to head somewhere new for a few days in March, playing tourist combined with a chance to catch up with some of my fav authors and find a few new gems for autumn reading is an opportunity I just can't pass up.
FICTIONALLY YOURS - Melbourne My home town - kind of, well the nearest city anyway. Apparently this will be the last time this event will be held so I've set aside the weekend, booked my hotel room and will be hanging at Crowne and feasting on Southbank with a few book and enjoying a winters weekend of books.
